This is a total classic. Apart from one time in the past when the song was over-used in a Trafford Centre advert (or something) Don’t Stop Me Now has always been a joy to listen to. It is a great song to sing along with – it has all the right elements – an air guitar solo, shouty singing – everything you need when you’re in the car with the radio on loud.

A total classic.

One of the best cover versions ever. The original, by The Zutons, was excellent but then Mark Ronson and Amy Winehouse released their version which added something new to the song.

The only song I could choose for this day would be our first dance song. It was Michael Buble’s Everything. It was a song we both loved at the time.

We have since agreed that if we got married again we’d have Thinking Out Loud by Ed Sheeran!

I can remember hearing this on the radio and on TV and thought it was a amazing. Someone played it at the youth club and it somehow sounded even better. I really wanted a copy but I probably had to wait until I had Limewire in my early twenties before I was able to get one!

Probably my favourite song ever, Music Sounds Better With You was an instant classic when it was released in 1998 and I never get tired of hearing it 22 years later.

A remember actually crying when I heard this. The song reminded me so much of the experience of losing my dad and father-in-law within a few days of each other a few years ago. The song spoke to me and Ed Sheeran captures the grief really beautifully.

This song definitely makes me feel happy. It reminds me of being a young teenager and happy summers. Listening to this song is guaranteed to cheer you up!!

This was the song that helped me discover Oasis. I’ll never forget hearing it on TV and thinking it was brilliant. I then discovered Definitely Maybe and the rest is history. One of the best bands ever!

Mr Brightside is such a good song to drive to. It is such an iconic, catchy song that you cannot help but sing along to. It is SUCH a great song!

The Ultimate High was the song that I never got to dance to – ok, well once. Released in 1993 I remember hearing it but not knowing what it was until a few years later.

It wasn’t until my late teens when I was out clubbing that I heard it again and loved it – the one and only time I danced to it!

Somehow I worked out what the song was called and now it features on my favourite songs playlist. It’s a classic that should have had more success than it did.
